Eyes of Emerald

A little random piece from my sketch book I decided to color with colored pencils. :) For some reason, I have been overly obsessed with green eyes.

@Sophiaharo; Crappy cell phone version, I tweaked the colors to make it look more like the actual piece. :o
I wasn't very happy with the results, especially the hair. I felt like I could have put more effort into it but I was really irritated that there were no small paint brushes. D:<

This semester in Painting I, I submitted the painted(acrylics) version of this picture to the Heritage High School Art Show this Spring and surprisingly, I won an OSPI award.
:O I feel so ashamed of myself because I thought the painting looked terrible. D:<

But I guess I got lucky! ♥
